Overlook

Felix V. Festa Middle School Campus is located in 30 Parrot Road, West Nyack, New York 10994. It is a middle school serving Clarkstown Central School District. Students graduating from 11 elementary schools and over 2000 students are merged together creating one of the largest middle schools in the United States. After graduating FFMS, the students either go to Clarkstown High School North or Clarkstown High School South. The students come from schools including Woodglen, New City, Congers, Link, Laurel Plains, Little Tor and other elementary schools.

The campus consists of three schools, until recently known as wings. There is A Wing, which was previously for students going to Clarkstown North High School, D Wing, students attending South High School, and C Wing, which consisted of a mix of North and South Students. In 2008 changes were made that the new A School is solely for incoming Sixth grade students, separating them from the older students in the school. C School is now for 7th and 8th graders going to South in following years, and D School for North. These changes are looked upon as positive for the incoming students because of the C Wing controversy over the past years. Students in C Wing were mixed with students going to different High schools, unlike D and A wings, and upon graduation, these students were set apart, causing negative attitudes toward the set up.

The Front B Gym is used for floor hockey and volley ball. The Back B Gym is used for basketball and pickle ball. The E Wing gym is used for Project Adventure which is a portion of gym classes where the students take part in activities such as climbing a rock wall, trust falls, and more extreme activities such as The Flying Squirrel and vertical and horizontal climbs. In the flying squirrel students are attached to a harness and pulled up but the rest of the class and 'fly' around the gym. In the vertical climbs the students climb vertical bars hanging form the ceiling and the same with horizontal bars in the horizontal climb. These activities are greatly enjoyed by most of the students of the school.
